Album Review

Casey Darnell - EP
So I want to start doing some album reviews on Tuesday’s to let you guys know what I’m listening to and how I find the music we sing on Sunday morning. My first review(if you want to call it that) will be of Casey Darnell’s new EP. A little background first, Casey is a worship leader based out of Atlanta and usually can be found on Sunday morning leading at one of Northpoint’s campuses across the metro ATL area. Casey has quickly become one of my favorite worship leaders to listen to mainly because the dude can flat out sing. I just enjoy hearing his voice. (Ok man crush is officially over for now.)

From the opening song to the end of this EP you can feel the emotion and the worship coming from Casey’s heart. My favorite song so far is “When The Waters Rise”. This song is a reminder that no matter what is going on around us God is unchanging and always there to hold us in His hands. This reminds me of Psalm 23 that God is our strength in the valley. Another great song on this EP is Anthem which is the first song on the album. It is a cry for the this generation to rise up and live for the glory of Christ's salvation. This song is for everyone to live a life that reflects the Great Commission. Look for some of these songs to be sung in our worship experiences in the future. Thanks Casey keep rockin'

The best part about this EP when you purchase it off itunes today you are help a great cause “Clothe Your Neighbor As Yourself” is giving away a pair of socks to someone who desperately needs them. So go get this EP today by clicking here
