Getting ready for Easter

Today was a great day of staff meetings.  We talked about the many upcoming things happening at Fellowship over the next few weeks.  Here are a few of the things you should know and hopefully get ready to do your part:

  • This Sunday we will finish our "What if..." series.  Don't miss this week as we believe this to be an important part of getting ready for Easter.\
  • We talked about next Sunday and I can't wait, I believe it will be exciting to see and hear the challenge of the Chair.
  • Crazy Love - we have been praying and preparing for the Easter Sunday message based on the book by Francis Chan of the same title, "Crazy Love".  This week you will be able to pick up a copy to read along with us during the month of April.
  • Easter Sunday will be the most amazing worship this year, you are gonna be amazed and blessed.
  • Start inviting people now to the Easter services at 9:15 and 11:00 am.  We are believing God that we will see at least 500 in attendance on this day.
  • If you are a regular attender or member please consider attending the 9:15 am service to make room for guest.
  • We are planning for 40+ guest for Easter Sunday.
  • I am excited about the youth.  Had a great time last night and Anthony Benefield did a great job of sharing with the kids.  Next week Anthony will be out of town and I will be teaching so youth bring a friend.  You never know what it might be worth!
  • Can't believe how God blessed us last week during the 11:00 service.  All I can say is WOW!  We are still talking to those who responded, but we believe several people prayed to recieve Jesus.
  • Sunday night was awesome!  The BBQ was great (Thanks to the Ladies from the LASP fire department)!  The talent part was fun and can you believe what Bessie did and then the trio doing Queen was incredible.  All I could say is WOW!
Well that's it for now.  Oh yeah Happy Birthday to Rodney Carpenter!  The big ______.  He'll have to tell you.

See you Sunday

Craig
